| Answer to the "Marbles" Logic Problem: | |
|---|---|
The answer is ONE marble. |
|
| The key to this problem is that ALL the bags are mislabelled. If you remove one marble from the MIXED bag and the marble is BLACK, then this bag must be the BLACK bag. It follows that the other two bags must hold WHITE and MIXED marbles. The bag labelled BLACK must be WHITE and the bag labelled WHITE must be MIXED. If you do not believe me or cannot picture the answer, draw yourself a picture to prove it!! - Karen |
